Vinted Users Voice Frustration Regarding Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has revised its size classifications for women's and children's clothes but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with other platforms.
It has advised users to check their listings and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Changes
Previously, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: previously, the platform withdrew an update concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
